基本的にハードロック好きの僕はあんまりダンス・ポップ的なのは好まんのですが、ペット・ショップ・ボーイズはなかなかいい曲が多い。
最近一番好きになってきたのが88年の「Always On My Mind」です。

●Always On My Mind

まぁ上のビデオクリップはもひとつですが、曲は素晴らしい。
ハイテンポのポップな曲でありつつも、ブリティッシュならではの気品も漂っている。
全米最高4位。

このアーティストは86年に「West End Girls」でいきなり華々しくデビュー(最高全米1位）しましたが、これも今考えるとラップ調の曲やったんですなぁ。この愛想のないビデオクリップはめちゃよかった。
